We are looking for an Assistant Manager Events Operations who thrives on dynamics, enjoys taking responsibility and is visibly present on the floor. Someone who doesn’t need to figure out how it should work, but knows exactly how it runs.
THIS IS YOUR PLAYING FIELD
The Events Manager takes care of preparation, planning and sales. Once the event starts, you step in. You are the face on the floor, the fixed point of contact for the team and partners, and the one who keeps overview when the pace picks up.
You lead front of house and kitchen, effortlessly switch between details and the bigger picture, and solve issues before guests even notice. You create calm, flow and quality, even in the middle of peak moments.
WORKING AT MR. SAMMI EVENTS
No event is the same. From intimate dinners to vibrant parties and tailor-made concepts where everything comes together. Sometimes several events in a row, sometimes space to look ahead to the next highlight. On average you work 28 hours per week, flexibly scheduled.

You stand strong on the floor and radiate confidence. You see what needs to be done, take action and bring your team with you. Under pressure you stay sharp, communicate clearly and know when to adjust or when to let go.
You step in where needed, lead where required, and never lose sight of the guest experience.
WHAT YOU BRING
You have an mbo-level education in hospitality, events or hospitality management at level 3 or 4, or proven experience in a comparable operational role. You know the reality of service, understand how operations flow and are familiar with HACCP, safety and guest-focused working. If you already have experience leading a team during service, you definitely have an advantage.

POSITION LEVEL AND SALARY OF AN
ASSISTENT MANAGER
CAO reference position Event Coordinator, job group 5. Salary indication between €2,450 and €2,600 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek, depending on your experience and role on the floor.
