Vacancy Administrative Assistant – The Big Family Group Roermond (part-time)

Within The Big Family Group, our hospitality concepts run at full speed. Behind the scenes, our staff team makes sure everything is right, administratively, financially and organisationally. For our back office in Roermond, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant who supports the Controller and enjoys structure, overview and accuracy.

You work closely with the Controller and are an essential link in the daily financial and administrative processes of our organisation.

Your role as Administrative Assistant

In this position, you support the Controller with the financial administration. You carry out your tasks independently within clear frameworks and ensure that financial data is processed correctly, completely and on time.

You work accurately, keep a clear overview and identify any irregularities, which you discuss with the Controller. In this way, you actively contribute to a healthy and reliable administration.

Responsibilities

You process and check incoming purchase invoices and assist with the approval process. You also prepare sales invoices and process them in the system. You support the accounts payable and accounts receivable administration and ensure that interim accounts remain clear and well organised.

In addition, you take care of administrative recording and archiving, prepare payments and carry out administrative checks. You support the VAT administration and periodic returns and provide data for reports. You also assist with month-end and year-end closings and handle various general back office tasks.

Education and experience

You have completed an mbo level 4 or hbo education in an administrative, financial or business administration field, at a minimum of level 4. Experience in an administrative role is an advantage, as is an affinity with numbers and financial processes. If you already work with systems such as AFAS, you definitely have an advantage.

Competencies that suit this position

You work accurately and have a strong eye for detail. You handle information discreetly and have a strong sense of responsibility. You are good at planning and organising, work proactively and communicate clearly and collegially with your colleagues.

What we offer

A position of at least 16 up to 38 hours per week, with working hours by mutual agreement. You will be part of the staff team of a professional hospitality group and work closely with the Controller. You will join a stable working environment with room for personal development. Employment conditions are in accordance with the Dutch Hospitality CAO.

Job grading and salary

This role is classified according to the CAO reference position Administrative Assistant, job group 4. The salary indication ranges between €2,550 and €2,850 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek. The part-time salary will be calculated pro rata. Final classification depends on experience and level of knowledge.
